Candle Light; 7 Freaky Cave

I walked over to Tala and rolled her over so I could see her. She had a clearly broken arm and blood was pouring out of her stomach. I then saw a dagger sticking out of her pocket, "I fell off the sled and my dagger caught the floor and stabbed me in the side," Tala whispered. The woman rounded the corner and fell to her knees, "Tala," She whispered. She then pulled a large role of stretchy cloth from her pocket and began wrapping Tala's stomach and made a splint out of a piece of wood from the sled for Tala's arm.

I went to the entrance and placed my palm on the snow. I banged my fist against it, but it was like punching concrete. I held my fist, waiting for the pain to go away. How were we to get out? Then another light shone from behind me. I tunred around and seen another passageway with a lantern at the end of it. The woman had taken the dogs off the sled, and the lead dog came to my side. He looked almost exactly like a wolf. I had learned his name, it was Takibo.

His mate was all white and she too, looked much like a wolf. Nalos (Takibo's mate's name) walked towards me also and I patted them both as I walked down the hallway. They followed me, sniffing everywhere like it was a dangerous place and they were very wary and alert.I came to the end and I touched the ice on the wall. A crack was all around it, forming the shape of a door. I kicked the ice and it broke, showing an exit. I yelled, "Mrs. Halos! Tala, come quick!"

They came, all the dogs following. When Mrs. Halos saw it, she ran back and tied all the dogs back onto the sled. We all got on it and slowly and carefully, we walked through the door. Once we were past it, a roar shook the cave and a giant rock rolled in the way of the door so we could not go back.

It was ALL ice, nothing else. We went across a narrow ice bridge, hearing it creak and crack at times. Water dripped more and more the further in the cave we went. Mrs. Halos spoke, "The water dripping is a sign that it's melting which means we're getting closer to heat. Possibly an exit." Once we were across the bridge, it fell and crumpled into the ravine. We came to a pile of rocks piled up on the wall.

Mrs. Halos, Tala and I were working away at the pile and once one certain rock was removd, a beam of sunlight shone through and I saw the outside. "It's an exit!" I said in excitment. We were picking away the rocks faster now,and throwing them into the ravine. Finally, we had all the rocks removed and we got back in the sled and joyfully, left the cave. Once we were out, a tree fell down, blocking the exit. We all turned heads and Tala said, "Freaky cave."
