The Magic pen
by Melissa Wang

“Oh! I hate that Buddy! ” sulky Lily shouted. Lilly had wanted to play with her classmate, but her classmate didn’t accept. Her classmate didn’t want to play what Lily wanted to play. Lily was angry. So they quarreled. At last Lily ran away. Lily was a tall, un-cautious, hateful and silly girl. Her eyes were the color of chocolate. She was 14 years old. She always wore a brown cap, brown dress, and brown shoes. As you can see, her favorite color is brown. Lily was a bully, that’s why nobody liked her. If you made her angry, she would look at you with disgusted eyes, like a tiger and make you afraid. She has got a magic pen. That pen is brown, long, and marvelous. If she use that pen to draw or write something, it will comes true. Now Lily is going to her favorite place --- an old red house. She wished the old house could make her happy. The old red house was Lily’s only friend, and her refuge. Dark enveloped the old house. Many pairs of nefarious eyes flickered like stars. Lily didn’t know what they were, but she doesn’t care. Inside, the house was brown, just like Lily. She always stayed in it, doing something that she wanted to, no one could stop her. Lily ran to her favorite place. There was a paper on the floor. She stopped, picked up the paper. “Ah----”Lily fell in the paper. Lily didn’t know what she should do ,but she didn’t want stay in the for a long time ,too . She tried to use her finger to rip the paper, but the paper wouldn’t rip. She began to see some shining things jump. She heard a light footstep; and the most scary sound. “siiiiiii,” some snakes were hissing. She started to feel dread. She began to worry how she would get out of the paper. “Help, who can help me?” Lily yelled. “No one.” a bloodcurdling voice said, “Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha…” After 30 minutes, she found a little hole ,that led out of the paper, but it was too small, and Lily was too fat. She start to find something that could make the hole bigger . “Oh, I don’t need this. I have my magic pen.” she remembered. Lily changed the pen’s color then she made a bigger hole. After that, she got out of the paper . “Oh, ”Lily thought, “that was crazy! But I still wonder who is the man in the paper that talked to me?” She dropped on the chair, and slowly, cautiously picked up the paper. It was just a common piece of paper. She couldn’t find any difference. Then she just threw it to the garbage can, and went back to her home. The End
