sorry for the wait guys; i've been kinda busy with deciding on my classes for next year. anyway, here's the first chapter. hope you guys like it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“I still think that you should have gone out with Blaine. He’s really hot, and he seems totally into you.” Claire took a bite out of the Krispy Kreme donut that we had gotten in Latin class. (Don’t ask me why; our professor is random like that.) I sighed and threw my napkin away. “I already told you; he only wanted to date me for my looks, and you know I hate those types of guys.” Claire shrugged. “Whatever. I still think you should have gone out with him.” A voice came from behind us. “So, what are three lovely young ladies such as yourselves doing for the Fall Ball?” I turned around and saw Max standing there. Beth smiled. “Hey Max. Where’s Luke?” “Oh, he’s back at the dorm, sleeping.” I frowned. “Don’t we both have class in, like, 10 minutes?” He shrugged, and I shook my head and smiled. “So, back to my question on the Fall Ball. I know Beth’s plans.” They exchanged glances. I should explain that Beth and Max are dating. Claire also has a boyfriend. “Well, I’m getting together with Adam. And Erin is…” “I’m going to sit in the dorm and watch 2 seasons of The Office.” They all shrugged, and we headed off to our classes. I went into the classroom and picked a seat in near the back of the room. I got out my laptop and opened a game of Bubble Shooter. Someone set their books down in the seat next to mine. I looked up and saw Luke. “Hey Luke. I see that you finally rolled out of bed. And it looks like it too.” His black hair was sticking up in all directions, and his clothes were rumpled as if he had grabbed a shirt and shorts from the floor. He made a face at me. “Ha ha, very funny. Max forgot to set the alarm for me, so I had two minutes to get ready. You’re lucky that I’m not here in my PJs.” At that moment, the professor came in, so we had to stop talking. This was the most boring and easy class in the world, Healthy Living: An In-depth View. I listened as the professor droned on about eating disorders. Someone tapped my arm; I looked and saw that Luke had his laptop open. He pretended to type, so I took that to mean to open my IM. I double clicked on the icon, logged on, and discovered that I had a new message from Luke.
Rockerdude819: hey, what r u doing 4 fall ball?
Boyh8er615: staying in the dorm watching 2 seasons of The Office. U?
Rockerdude819: well, i wanna ask someone, but i’m not sure if she’ll say yes.
Boyh8er615: go ahead and ask her. The worst thing that could happen is that she’ll say no. o, and make sure to catch her in a good mood, cuz u’ll have a better chance of her saying yes.
Rockerdude819: gotcha. Thx.
We signed off, and I had to go back to the boring stupor known as Healthy Living class.
Wow - this is good. I loved
Wow - this is good. I loved it - but It seemed kinda obvious to me that Luke was gunna ask Erin. He was, wasn't he?
But anyways, I really liked the layout and the begining of the story; but maybe you should add some spaces for paragraphs, so the sentences don't run into each other, you know? It confuses the readers. Anyways, could you do me a favour and read Vanessa and The Cosa Nostra for me? Please? Thanks if you do.
And if you don't like it at the 1st go, please read Kat's Diary, okay?
Thanks! Love your chappie btw!!
