Love is imperfect
That’s the truth of things
It’s not like Jesus
Who’s perfect in every way
But just like true believers do
We can work to make
Our love perfect.
These tears make us stronger
These heartaches build us
For the hard future
These small arguments
Brings us closer to believing
We need to make this love
Last forever.
I won’t be like him
I won’t give up on true love
No matter how much you get upset
No matter what they say about you
No matter what happens I
Won’t give up on you
I will never give up on you…
