Drowning Crying Falling Praying

Drowning
In the darkness
Of my own sorrow
Crying
Tears of self-pity
And frustration
Falling
From grace cuz
I am doubting God
Praying
Cuz I need some
Assurance in my life
Falling
Into my world of
Red skies and black roses
Crying
Cuz I feel Him
And I cry even harder
Drowning
Cuz I know I’m weak
And I know I need You
Praying
With a screaming mouth
And tears slipping down my cheek
Crying
With a killing
Headache of madness
Falling
With broken wings
Like broken angels do
Praying
Cuz I need God
To hold me tight tonight…

Your poems/songs seem to be usually very sad but are written so beautifully so it gets the message through in a peaceful and magical way.
