Angelo Explanations

This is a guide to the settings, characters and anything confusing in Aidan (Angelo).

Setting: The story is set in Ireland, in this time period (modern). It is set in Limerick which is a ‘city’ in Munster, to be more specific it is in an imaginary province of Limerick: In a relatively small village called McGilly Lynn. The school is St. Aisle’s Primary School. The main sport is rugby and football, and includes no American sports. The main character, lives on Day & Donegal farm which is the neighbours the village but is not in the village. The villains (Carrack’s Gang) live on the outskirts of village in the dilapidated Shackles Shack.

Characters:
Aidan Day: An arrogant eleven ½ year old who is good at all sports and all arts. He has a pet fox named Angelo who earns his keep by playing the role of a sheepdog. He has a crush on one of his best buds, Hannah St. Ives. Has murky blond hair, that sometimes turns dark reddish and has green eyes. Main character.
Colin Day: Aidan’s nine year old brother, is good at maths and science and like Aidan loves to read but is not good at sport. Has a pet dove called Sylvia.
Hannah St. Ives: Pretty girl with golden blond hair. Has an angels voice and sings in Aidan’s band. Has a crush on Aidan and shows it occasionally to see his nervous reactions. Is good at rugby and football. Can be very devious at times but is always kind and pure hearted. Strives hard to keep the secret that she is the Mayors oldest niece!
Piper: Aidan’s mischievous mate, who has a sharp tongue and can’t keep out of trouble. Is good at rugby and his dad is the village bartender.
