Sorry this is a little short, anyway in the next chapter or two there is a Wikipedia file that is semi-crucial to understanding parts of the story. So if you can read through that briefly to get a small idea of Parkour, which the characters will be using during the story
Aidan smiled, his master plan was already underway. The next day was school as usual, and instead of the usual pit of boredom tunnelling deeper into his intestine he felt exhilarated. Today he would have to gather his elite, and his adventure would begin. He slid into his grey trousers, and buttoned up his shirt. He tethered the tie around his neck and donned his dark olive blazer. He hurried downstairs and didn’t linger for a leisurely breakfast but, shovelled down two croissants as he slid on his brown suede shoes and hurried out the door.
He reached school and sought out Piper in playground, Hannah St. Ives and Collie Ferns were standing next to him. Piper pointed at the two girls,
“got two people from the list so far, and explained the game plan.”
“Good work,” thanked Aidan, “what about Kelly Brooks over there?” he said pointing and the pretty brunette girl in the corner of the playground.
“She’s unreachable, every time you try and get near the lass she disappears!” complained Piper.
“Pips, ye right like she disappears like magic,” teased Aidan.
“No really,” pleaded Piper, “just walk towards her and she’ll just slowly back of into the scene and kinda like fade away!” Aidan snorted in disbelief. He began to walk over to her, Kelly caught his eye. The snag of her stare was like getting your sight caught on barb wire, as he neared towards her she slowly backed into the crowd. Aidan jogged into pursuit as she turned and darted away, he ran after her but eventually he couldn’t see her.
He stared around frantically and at the North Wall he gleaned a figure bouncing up the sides of the wall, scaling the drain pipe, rocketing of ledges and shimmying across the gutter and quickly heaving itself onto the roof. Aidan gaped and sprinted after it, he slowly and painfully wall-climbed the North Wall and finally clambered onto the roof and collapsed in a knackered heap on the concrete. Kelly looked down at him, her eyebrow raised impressively.
“No one’s ever followed me before, you’ve got some nerve,” she said blankly, her voice was Gothic and miserable as January rain.
“I’ve got nothing but nerve!” winked Aidan self-confidently.
“I hate nerve,” said Kelly bitterly, “but I heard you were a soulless, cold blooded killer. I like that.” At this Aidan was speechless, maybe he was a cold blooded killer, he had to work on keeping that under control.
“Err thanks?” said Aidan eventually, and unsurely, “anyway I was just wandering if-” but Aidan was interrupted abruptly by Kelly.
