Stick of Snow Book 2 (chapter1)

"Never let you're opponent know you're weakness!" Candi shouted from accross the room, her Gardian, a little humming bird named Jhohann (Yo-han), fluttering at her shoulder.
Ariana faced her opponent, Hans, and took her stsance. Hans lunged at her and she rolled over pointing her stick and tripped him. Then they began to reallly make some blows.
Hans dropped his stick and it turnned into a huge snake, and not you're avrege huge either, big, scaley, and, for lack of a better word, deadly! It was a Basilisk!
"Crud!" Ariana complained, because she hadn't seen that coming. He had the Stick of Animals for crying out loud!
She avoided eye contact and and thought hurridly. *Think! Think! Ariana think! I got it!*
"Lotius-Rhenn!" she cried and the Basilisk was reduced back to a stck with a blinding flash of light.
Hans caught the Earth falling stick and took his chance while Ariana was out of breath and powerless, because she used up so much of her powers already. He knocked Ariana down and stode over her in a killing position. Hans thought he had won, but not just yet. Ariana spoke a few words and a gust of wind knocked him off his feet. She lepped up and cornered him takeing the stick from him and pointing hers at his neack.
"Well done! Well done Ariana! I couldn't have done that better myself." Candi came running up to the two of them. "Hans that was well played you almost won but you must remember Ariana here has an advantege over you, she can speack and commad nature in some ways. Ariana you need to remember to expect the unexpected. Now you both have had enough training today Ariana you can tell Kit that I want to work on his sorcery later on." Ariana nodded.
She and Hans went down the hall and to their doorms.
"Nice work." Hans congratulated her. "I thought I was dead with that light blast."
Ariana turned and grabbed the hadle to the door and took her key out. "Thank. I thought I was mince meat when you played the Basilisk card. See ya."
"See ya." Hans answered, and continued down the hall.
Ariana unloked the door and stepped inside. Kit was sitting at the desk and was doing some research on the computer.
"Anything yet?" Ariana asked.
"Nope. It's been over a year and this Alanna girl hasn't come up on anything I research and I've hacked into the schools website a thousand times. If she ever went here her files are long gone or she went here a long, long time ago." Kit answered.
"Can you find the old files from when Candi went here maybe." Ariana suggested.
"Anything yet?" Joe said bursting through the door.
"Kit's hacking into the old files right now and hopefully we'll get some results." Ariana answered.
"Good. I'm tired of waiting for something to show up. It's been about a year." Joe said.
"Thats what I said." Kit turned around in his chair. Turning back he called, "Hey, hey! I think I found something!"
"Fanily!"
