once apon a time there lived an nymph named helen. all helen had ever known was the forest. her aunt told her stories of the ocean but she had never seen it...untill one day:

helen stood on the branch of a tree. it swayed slightly but held up.
the wind blew softly threw the leaves as she tried despritly to look beyond the forest, the trees, even the sky. it was all she knew and it bothered her greatly that she had never seen the ocean; the large body of water that aunt melony had told her about. she hoped silently from branch to branch untill the sun began to set, but still she could not reach the end of the woods.

finally after an entire night of searching the trees began to thin and she stood at the entrance to a world she had never seen. there were no trees. only grass and sunlight. she ran quickly threw the grass. it felt strange to her not to have the shade given by the oaks. a salty smell filled the air as she reached a cliff. finally she saw the ocean.

sea birds swooped all around her and waves slaped against the shore. she stood on the sandy beach untill she saw something swim up. "come with us" said a voice from under the water. suddenly two mermaids leaped up and out of the water. "yes. come with us" the other echoed. helen looked behind her. she'd be leaving everythings behind if she went but there would be so much to discover! finally she nodded and all the posibilities were opened.

the end.

yes i know it stunk but i'm not used to writing fairy tales like this..

anyway there it was. best i could do.
