"Could Ethelda be even more anoying?" Kit whispered to Ariana and Joe as they sped along the highway.
Ethelda was a shape-shifter that was sitting right behind them and seemed to, dilbretly, say things loud and obnoxiously into their ears.
"Kit she's 'E-thel-da' she'll do what she wants no questions, no comments." Joe replied.
"Yep my Daddy was so great in his time he wrestled a two toned Blongey-" Ethelda was saying.
"Blongey?" Ariana inquired, "That was a real joke."
The trip went on forever. Ethelda never seemed to tire with her made up stories about her father and all these other things that , even in their world, seemed unlikly to happen. But people keped getting hipnotized by Ethelda's little hipno friend, Nita, by the time Kit, Ariana, and Joe left the bus with Nightmoon, Mudstorm, and Chesnutt everyone on there was hipnotized.
"Talk about your 'I'll never get enough of this'." Kit commented as they watched the bus speed out of sight.
"Tell me about it."
"Are you two gonna stand there gawking all day or are we going to go greet everybody?" Ariana asked hurring up the stone path.
Kit and Joe fallowed eagerly with there suitcasses flying out behind them.
Knock, knock, knock. Ariana hit the knocker with all this excitement flowing through her. Footsteps sounded fome the front hallway and she tenced.
The door creaked open with an eeiry sound to it and Mrs.Terrenshons kind old face peered at them from the doorway.
"Yes?" she asked.
"Mrs.Terrenshons? Its Kit, Joe, and Ariana." Kit said.
Her face lightend up at these words, "Kit! Ariana! Joe! Its so good to see you! 'Scuse the old girl for not reconizing you sooner, but I haven't seen you in a year! Come in! Come in! Gosh you three've grown!" She herded them inside.
"Kit, Joe, how about some lemonaid?"
"Yes please!" Kit and Joe said together.
"What about you Ariana? Would you like a little something to wet the whistle?"
"No thank-you Mrs.Terrenshons." she replied, "Arn't our Mom's home yet?"
"Oh dear they won't be home for an hour yet and that ol' Seath is out again. And you three came here at a veary good time because you're fathers are here for a visit."
"Hu!" Joe asked hurring into the conversation "'Our fathers'?" she repeated.
"Yes sirey. And I can tell you that they are itchen out of their skin to see ya'll." Mrs.Terrenshons replied.
"Gee," Ariana said, "I haven't seen my father since forever." she sounded shocked and a little suspisous that her father was really here to see them.
"So how's the new school for ya'?"
"Good." Joe replied.
"Fine" said Kit.
"O- ." Ariana was cut off when the front door opened, and seven people walked in.
"There here!"
