Chapter 4
“How could you possibly do that to one another?!” my mom said.
Nick and I opened our mouths to speak.
“Ah,” my mom said, putting up a finger. “No further discussion on this. Nick, you can’t go to the new skate park on Friday. Natalie, you won’t be accompanying your friends when they go to the movies this Saturday. And BOTH of you will not be attending the dance this Friday. Got it?”
Nick and I nodded quickly. “Got it,” we answered.
We stood from the sofa and walked up the stairs.
When we got to the upstairs hallway, Nick pulled me into a corner.
“I can’t believe we’re missing the dance this Friday! I was going to go with Sydney Taylor! This is all because of you!”
“No it’s not!” I snapped. “I’m missing the dance too, so we’re equal.”
“No we’re not,” he said.
“I’m going to get back at you so bad, you’ll wish you were never born,” he hissed.
“Okay, can you just let go of the collar of my polo. It’s new,” I said. He then let go.
I flattened the area where he had grabbed me. “I hope you’re joking,” I said, smiling.
“Well, I’m joking about ‘you’ll wish you were never born’ part because it made it sound scary, but I’m so getting back at you. Watch out,” he said. Then he stormed off to his bedroom.
I just stood there, shocked. I then turned around and walked silently to my bedroom.
I flung the door open and lay on my green sheets and stared at the green walls full of posters of the Jonas Brothers, High School Musical, etc.
I turned on my bed and took my white laptop off my bedside table. I sat up on my bed and turned it on.
Once it was on, I went onto Microsoft Word and opened up one of the stories I was working on.

She wandered into the forest, afraid, but brave.
She knew she had a mission to complete and she worried about her poor papa at home tending to her mama who was still very ill and close to dying.
She started to whistle a little tune and kept walking. She had to go to the store, unseen and quietly, so the Nazis wouldn’t catch her.
Anne ran across the road and flung open the door of Mr. Sander’s store.
“John!” she exclaimed. She ran over to him and hugged him.
“What are you doing here?” he asked picking her up.
“Mama is ill and I need to buy some supplies for Papa. We’re worried she might die soon,” Anne said quietly.

I sat there, my laptop on my knees and thought.
“Should Mr. Sanders say something?” I asked out loud. I shook my head, saved the piece I had just typed and turned the laptop off.
I went over to my desk and started my homework.

You should write a story in

You should write a story in the perspective of Natalie (the story that is already written) and add on to it as a companian novel or something like that or maybe a diary?
Love it!
