Computers Don't Like Orange Juice Chapter Three

And so our quest began.
I guess you really couldn't call it that.
It was Tara and I, she with a large net and me with binoculars. We also had walky talkies.
Most of the equipmant was for fun. It's not every day you get to go on a life-depending hunt.
A life depending hunt to Lucy.
She was still fine, but she would not awaken. I kept picturing my little sister like Snow White, laid forever in a glass coffin where her seven dwarfs mourned over her for eternity.
Whoa. Getting ahead of myself here.
Snow White had her prince rescue her from her dark slumber.
But who would be Lucy's prince? The puppy?
And would she have a happy ending?
Then I thought of me. I'd be the evil stepmother who caused all of this. I shivered remembering the queen's fate. Not a happy one.
Suddenly my hair whipped up as Tara ran off down the street. I could hear barking.
The puppy?
I ran after her, trying to focus my binoculars as I ran. A little golden blur sped not to far ahead.
Tara had the net!
Could it be the same puppy?
Well, it sure was a fast one.
My side was cramping, but Tara kept going for it. Going for the gold. I saw the swish of the net...
and then I tripped on a bump in the sidewalk and fell.
The binoculars jumped a little ahead, my walky talkie flying along with it. My hands burned. I brushed the salty gravel off of them.
Why was it I was always falling?
Tara was yelping. In pain? No, in triumph. She ran up to me and the puppy's face met mine. He gave me a slobbery lick. Aw, those warm brown eyes.
But back to business.
"Okay, Mia. We got him. But what do we do now?"
It seemed so easy at the moment.
"We make him undo the wish."

Mia's having some pretty bad luck. Very well written I must say. :)

[Ron said,] "Look, let me go back and hit Percy!"
"No," [Hermoine] answered firmly.
"It'll make me feel better!"
