Chapter Three Fresh Air

Did you think Dasck was dead? Well, if you did you are so wrong… Dasck was in the pink and slimy stomach of it! And he did not like it at all (I mean would you like to sit in a disgusting stomach? I would not like at all.) There is not much to tell of him inside it’s stomach so this is going to be one of the shortest chapters in this book. The only exciting thing about Dasck’s visit to it’s stomach was when it ate or when it was running or jumping. But the most exciting thing that happened to him was the day he was thrown –up: three days after he was eaten, Dasck sat at the bottom of it’s stomach and was carving: “a dwarf being eaten by it” But suddenly a deep rumble came from inside it’s stomach.
“What was that, I wonder,” said Dasck aloud.
Then another deep rumble came from it. Then with out warning, Dasck was shoved up toward it’s mouth and suddenly “pop!” Dasck came flying out of it’s mouth and rolled down the cliff and landed in some moss just below the cliff. Dasck so the sleek black body of it far above. The first thing he thought was: great! I’m in the middle of nowhere. The second thing he thought was: yippee I’m free of it.
The third thing he thought was: fresh air.
(I know I’m saying “suddenly” so much but I have to) Suddenly, sharp needles began pricking into Dasck’s hard mountain dwarf skin. He wheeled his head around and saw two weasels and a fairy.
“Git up ‘ittle dwarf,” snarled one of the weasels “Bisc!”
The other weasel looked up.
“Git ‘im to the army,”
“Aye, sir,” cried Bisc, and hoisted Dasck onto his shoulders and started to walk him to the army.
