in a Land Where All Dreams Come Alive
Ariana turned her back at the fact that Joe's dad seemed to ignore her completly. Whenever he looked at her it was with a scowl. Thinking this was normal behavior for a protective dad she dropped the matter and enjoyed the company her own father provided.
The Seeker was still a mystery to her. She did not understand how it could take her anywhere she wanted nor the fact that her father fell and found it. Her mother had told Ariana since the moment her father left them at Mrs. Terrenshons that he was going away on business matters, now however she knew this was not the case. Though whenever she brought up interest in the matter the subject was almosr instatiously changed.
The last day of their fathers visit, however, things were about to change...
The only sounds around the small round table were the clanking of silverwhere and the grunts when someone got ellbowed in the ribs by their neighbor, or when someone almost choked and made this sort of gagging noise that got everyone out of their seats in order to help.
"So," Ariana said trying to strike up a conversation, "where was you're bisuness trip?"
No sound was heard now. Only Joe, and Kit saw no harm in the questioned and all around baffeled when Joe's dad screamed out the opinion that it was nothing of her consern and to keep her nose where it belongs.
"Now Weasly no need to get into that." Joe's mother scolded her husbend, "There's nothing wrong in Ariana showing her curiosity."
Her dad cleared his throat, "Ariana, darling, maybe this isn't the right time. We'll talk sometime else kay?"
Slowly Ariana nodded, though now she was entierly convinced that something was being hidden away. Like locked inside a safe and only acsesable to those who knew how to open it.
Ariana tossed and turned in her bed that evening. Her mind had not rested since the start of dinner about three hours ago.
She had the impression that her world was sorounded by things hidden and kept. Like the center of the Earth was just made of the most pressious secrets and that they kept things in order and balence and slowly as each secret was reviled another took its place. The pattern could go on till the end of time. Which since time never ends is longer than forever, because obviously 'forever' will have to come to an end.
