9/11

9/11 was a horrible day, I dont even think once to say,
"I was scared when the Towers collapsed, it gave me fear with a gasp.
When it hit the Pentagon, it gave me a scare, like an Iraqi, at me he stared.
When it crashed into the field, I felt sad. Those terrorists in Iraq better feel pretty bad."

It seems like it's not fair.

It seems like it's not fair. I know I was little, I can barely remember the USA mourning especially in the Eastern area. I feel really bad. Just think, "What if my dad was in there?"

Just saying, (Trying not to

yeah. my uncle's best friend

yeah. my uncle's best friend died in that. i was in kindergarten and i remember so clearly walking up our cellar stairs and into the kitchen and my dad was sitting and watching it on TV. And after awhile, my little brother asked if we could change the channel, bcuz 'this show has been on for a long time.'

Today is a gift. That's why it's called 'the present.'

I don't really remember

I don't really remember because I was in preschool. I just remember that in first grade, I asked if if today was a holiday, because we had an extra moment of silence, and my teacher saying not really. I didn't know any better I guess....

I was 4 when it happened, you weren't being rude Hooper, and my friend's mom died in 9/11. I made this poem in memory of her.

I was in 3 grade and I

I was in 3 grade and I remember it very clearly when the planes hit the towers at around 9 o'clock when our pincpal came on the intercom and said the twin towers and the penitgon had been hit. My class was doing spelling. Afer recess she turned the t.v on so we could see it. They were trying to decide if they should let us go home early because of the threat. The rest of that day ,the rest of that week even there was a silence that hung over the school.
