A/N I am continuing this book, it is really good!
"C'mon!" Rose yelled and pulled Beth by the arm forcefully. Jay took off sprinting away, into complete darkness. "Please Beth!" The moon started flickering and the wind picked up to a gust.
Beth stood there staring ahead of her.
"But, what happened?" Beth looked down silently.
"Beth, forget about it!" Rose tugged Beth so hard Beth followed clumsily.
The night was the deepest mid-night blue with the temporary moon, white, above the gnary branches that reflected beneath the moonlight.
"Rose!" Rose slowed to jog but kept running hoping to find Jay.
"What?"
"Just let go of my arm!" Beth dug her heals into the pavement.
"I can't. You must... continue!" Rose puffed out and continued running into the darkness that uncovered more darkness.
Finally, Beth unhooked her arm from Rose's grip.
"Beth!" Rose called frightened. "This isn't a smart idea! C'mon, we'll be safe!" Both girls were now standing ten yards apart.
"It's not about me, nor us, it's about a lady in that cave who needs our help. You know it Rose. Now I'm going back, you go find Jay."

Beth stood there facing the cave as she listened to the footsteps faint as Rose got further and further, safer and safer. Then the young girl gulped hard and ran forward.
Beth tip-toed down the mud stairs as she ignored the goo falling upon her freshly washed hair. She thought she heard a voice. The voice sounded unfamiliar and foreign. It was not Rebecca. Beth slouched her shoulders and continued.

Beth slung her head along the wall into the dim lighting room. Her eyes amazed her and she pulled her head back quickly and rubbed her eyes until she saw clearly.
Beth looked again. She silently observed the foreign figure.
"Nearly transparent figure? Not Rebecca, not Mort. Was it?" Beth flung her head back behind the wall. "Hades?"
