Okay! This is my newest story, The prophecy of Witches and Redheads. I hope you enjoy it, please tell me if I should continue. The whole story will be in diary form, alternating point of views between these two girls, Janelle and Mariko. Janelle is twelve years old, Mariko is thirteen. They have not met, but there lives are already tied in ways they cannot imagine.

Preface
Hey. This is me, Janelle Jackson. I don’t know why I’m keeping a diary. Dad says I should, starting with the move. This isn’t going to be a diary, though. I’m going to record what happens, but not my feelings. Feelings I will keep to myself.
So, you won’t see anything about my mom in here. My mom... to the person reading this, she just isn’t here, okay?
So, I am moving to Azurton. Dad says it’s a nice town, but I’ve heard rumors. Bad ones. Ones of witches and stuff like that. I don’t want that. I want to live here, in good ol’ Saint Louis. I love the country, and stuff, but not witches. I don’t want anything to do with Azurton; I don’t want to live in the wilderness with witches and vampires. I’ve heard that’s what lives there. Witches and vampires, and even werewolves. I don’t know, though. I’m scared, I know that much.

Preface
Hello, again, dearest journal. I have filled the space of my latest book where I record my happenings. All is well. Still my family lives unnoticed. Midori is as sour as ever, and I love her because of it. Mother keeps the house running, and is doing her best to keep me out of trouble. Izumi is as reasonable as ever, Mother’s beloved sister. Then there is her mother, my grandmother, Shiori. Oh, and my beloved older sister Tomoni is well, always playing, kidding, and having fun. She is seventeen years old. I await writing this journal, filling its pages with my memories. I have kept journals since I was hardly seven, and how would I be able to stop? A storm brews as I drop my pen, awaiting tomorrow, that is already shrouded with mystery.
