Fate in the Land of Lore and Myths |
I will admit that I am greatly influenced by one of my favorite books and it may seem quite simalar in some places. But i digress, here goes.

"Ex-cuse me?" Marke blurted slightly enraged. Turning in her seat she found herself looking up at a tall, stringy boy with mouse brown hair which he wore cropped and hanging. His beady, black eyes reminded Marke of a animals and she supressed a snicker inspite of herself. He was flanked by two other boys. Standing up the ten-year old only came up to the elder boys chest. Attempting to appear aloof dispite the circumstace she found herself in, the first year page looked him as squarely in the eye as she could, "You know, people will think you're mad if you continue to talk about yourself that way." Snickers scattered across the hall.
Picking her up off the ground by her shirt, the elder boy said meanicingly, "For a first year, you're pretty bold. Word of advise. Don't disrespect your elders."
"Was that [i]supposed[i/] to be a threat? Because I don't believe it had the affect you were going for." Snickers turned to surpressed laughter.
"Do you know who I am?"
"Nope. Could you put me down? This position is quite unbearable." The laughter grew.
"I am Thorron of Hasherborne."
"That's quite a mouthful. Put me down." Doors opened somewhere in the hall, Marke turned to look only to be thrown to the ground and have a muddy boot placed on her. "Learn to respect me," Thorron face was red with anger. "If you want to be respected, try doing the same to others," Marke replied hotly, struggling to get the older, heavier boy off. Only to be rewarded by more pressure. "That's IT." Marke thought furiously and savagely kicked upward, hoping to land it hard enough to make Thorron let go. The kick landed. Not as hard as Marke had hoped, but in a place that was painful enough to release the pressure pushing on her. Shoving his foot of Marke leapt up and assumed a balance stance. Immeaditly, Thorrons two cronies held her by her arms. Thorron himself looked none too pleased when he stood. "Time for you to learn your place." Bringing his arm back for a punch, Marke quickly hooked her leg behind one of the boys left leg throwing him into the suckerpunch meant for her. Soon she was held by one boy while the other two advanced on her. Bracing herself for the blows, only one came before a voice sounded, "Having fun Thorron?" Then, silence engulfed the hall. Everyone stared at the newcomers. "Oh great, what next?" Marke muttered through her rapidly swelling lip.

That's what i was talking
That's what i was talking about. I loved that part of the chapter and kinda mimicked it. But I'll make the rest different. I don't like to be cliche too much. You've read the books? I only have Alanna:The first adventure. I want the others so bad. Have you read Protecter of the Small?
If you don't like it, suck it up.
