Order in MY Court! chapter 2

Juniper's House
May 17, Sunday
Attendants: Juniper, Kit, Danny, Joey, and Sophie.
Danny

"Judge Juniper!" I pounded my fists into the arm rests of the coach. "This is totally obsurd! I call Kit Hurst to the stand!"
"Very well, Daniel. Kit." She pointed to Kit and Kit silently but quickly made her way to the folding chair, the uncomfortable folding chair.
"Ms. Hurst. Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing BUT the truth!?" I looked the girl in the eyes which I could tell made her shudder.
She raised her right arm. "I swear."
"Thankyou then. Now, may you please tell the jury what happened?" I pointed to the small crowd of stuffed animals on the small chair beside Judge Juniper's high-chair. Puh! Judge Juniper. Her and her jury. Hopefully she'll finally agree with me.
"Well, Judge Juniper, jury, I must say something." Kit thought hard about what she was going to say. The court of Justice couldn't end here, not now at least!
"This last kickball game. Simply it was only fair for Joey. He had won three straight matches against Sophie because he got Ross. Joey got to pick first. He picked Ross. Sophie just thought it was fair if she had Ross on her team. I of course, agree with Sophie. It's one thing to play good and win, but one person can't win for you, and Joey had that advantage for too long now. There had to be some fair or equal competition, at least this once." Sophie spoke quite slow. This was where I had to quickly step in before Ms. Judge over here, interupted.
"But. Why didn't Sophie pick first?" Of course I knew the answer to this question but this was my time for throw her over board.
"Sophie, being kind let Joey pick first." Again, slow Ms. Kittie over here spoke slow.
"Well, if she was going to steal Ross anyway she should of had herself gone first. It is only her fault. There is no reason how it can be turned around."
I saw Kit sigh heavily and turn back to Sophie. They were cornered.
