The Prophecy of Witches and Redheads (Day 2)

Day 2
We are close to Azurton. By midday tomorrow we will be there, or so Dad says. I am tired. I was woken at 6:00 today. Dad is determined to get to Azurton soon. We will, so I don’t understand his hurry. Hopefully he will let me rest tonight. We are at another hotel, more comfy than yesterday’s.
Enough of that. I am impatient. I must tell of a great event. If anyone but me is to read what I am about to write, all faith you have in me will fall.
I saw... creatures today. Horse-dogs. I say in the car, blinking tired from my eyes, and saw them. One after another they came, seeming to appear from no where. At first I thought they were dogs. They were like dogs. They were light tan in color. Their ears were pointed up, perfectly straight. They had long tails, that hung straight down as they ran. Their snouts were long, or long enough. Their fur was short, very. So, at the first glance I thought them to be dogs.
Then I saw their legs. I saw how they ran.
Their legs were skinny, not fat at al clung to them. They were not the shape of dog legs, either, but of... horses. They were shaped exactly like horses. Not just the legs, all the body except the head and tail, and maybe back. They were the size of dogs, though, medium dogs. The legs also looked like they had hooves on them, though I might have imagined that part. They ran like horses to, 100% exactly like horses.
One after another they ran, seeming to appear from thin air. I counted five by the time the car had pulled far away from them. One of the strangest things was, there was not a single difference among them. It scared me. There was not a single difference in their shape, size, run, pace, or black beady eyes.
I’m not crazy, either. Kim saw them too. They were on my side of the car, but she still did. I sat in the passengers seat, and she sat in the back behind dad. She described the exactly how I did, too.
So I saw them. Horse-dogs.

Day 2
They still would not show me the prophecy.
Oh anger, mystery, wants in my heart! Why must you taunt me so?
Secrets do no harm if you do not know they are being kept.
The rain continues. Thunder crashes, lightning flashes, and the world is dreary.
There is not much more to say. The day has been uneventful. I am waiting. The others are waiting. All of us are waiting on this storm filled day.
