TUESDAY
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm finally ten! Not nine, but ten! T-E-N!!!!!! You probably know I can spell! Yay!!!! I feel like a grown up even though I'm acting like a baby! Woo!
I had a huge party today with all my friends, even though it was a school night. Mule, Liz, Dean, and Nathan came, as well as my cousins Francie, Ronna, Cory, and Sid. It was so fun! Liz dumped nachos all over Francie, and Nathan and Cory had a huge fight what show to watch. Dean and Sid played video games together, which eventually lead to another argument because Sid accused Dean of using cheats. Ronna, Mule, Alessa, Caleb and I played some games. Great fun!
WEDNESDAY
Today day at school, we had to start practicing our lines. And I have a good part. Here's my favorite scene:
AJ (JESS): You know what's weird, Liss?
LISS (ME): What, AJ?
AJ: Cody's nose points sort of upward.
CODY (FRANCIS): I hate you.
LISS: I'm moving to Russia.
AJ: (Acts surprised) What!
CODY: She's lying.
AJ: How do you know?
CODY: She's grinning.
LISS: So? I'm always happy. You're not. So in your pointy nose face.
AJ: (Chuckles) That's funny.
(Phone rings, LISS answers it)
LISS: (Mumbles as if talking on phone, then hangs up) Guys, I really am moving to Russia.
AJ: Liar!
CODY: No, she's not. She's telling the truth.
AJ: She's my only friend! No!
CODY: What about me?
AJ: You? You're my backup friend. You know, for emergencies only.
LISS: Hey, Cody, you know you have a booger and your fly's down and your belts undone.
CODY: I doubly hate you.
LISS: Oh, thanks. You're beautiful too.
AJ: I can't believe you're moving.
Our play is called "To Lie or Not to Lie," written by Ian. It's about a girl named Liss (ME!) who keeps on telling lies until all of her lies became true. Now she must reverse the spell and get back to the US from Russia. Her best friend is AJ (Jess) and her other friend is Cody (Francis.) Samantha is her mom, and her dad died in the war. (How sad.) Ian doubles as the director, because I needed a friend in Russia. Played by Rick, his name is Troy. He believes that Liss' cursed and he helps her try to reverse the curse.
And, you can probably tell that I have a bigger part than Jess. She was a little angry and pouty at first, but she got over it and we're getting into the "I might be you're friend" stage.
Wow. I'm absolutely forgetting that I was the new kid last year. Oh well. See ya!
