My Opinion
Lois Lowry was at it again! Even if you don't know this author, by reading this book you'll surely become a fan! In my opinion this Newberry book would've gotten one more star, but some of the parts could've been written better. Anyway Lois does an excellent job of explaining the delicate subject of the Holocaust and this is sure to enthrall readers of all ages.
Summary
This tale is about Anna Marie, a girl living in Denmark at the beginning of World War II. And her friend, Ellen, a Jewish girl is under threat of the Nazis. So in helping her friend escape, suddenly Anna Marie has the whole operation depending on her, will she pass the mission? Or will they all die? Read this book to find out!
Conclusion
This entralling historical fiction-adventure will enthrall you and bring you into action! I HIGHLY recommend it!
