Ms. Europe- Chapter 3- part 1- Fired

"Don't you think Peter Anderson is the most handsome guy EVER??" Annie asked me.
I stared at her and said, "Ew."
"Aw, c’mon, you know you think he's handsome!" Annie insisted.
I Turned to her and said, "Ok, first of all, no, I don't think he's handsome, and second of all, EW! And third of all, stop saying handsome, we're not in the 18th century, if you hadn't noticed, we've past that century more than 100 years ago."
Annie rolled her eyes.
"Just because you don't like the "Ms. Europe show" doesn't mean you can't like the CUTEST judge EVER!" Annie said.
Since we couldn't use electricity, we (thank goodness) couldn't watch the "Ms. Europe show", So, Annie was reading a magazine of the models of Ms. Europe. And, I was reading some short scary stories from a book.
"Oh, how I’d wish to be "Ms. Europe", when I’m older, I want to try out." Annie said with dreamy eyes.
I rolled my eyes,
"Like that'll happen." I mumbled.
Annie glared at me.
Annie is a pretty girl, she has hazel eyes, a beauty mark under her right eye, dark long brown hair, and she's thin like me. The model type.
Jenna came in the room,
"Whatcha doing?" Jenna asked.
"Reading." Annie and I said at the same time.
Jenna giggled.
"You guys said it at the same time." Jenna told us.
We ignored her.
Harry then came in.
"Whatcha doin?" He asked.
"Reading." Annie and I said at the same time, Again!
Harry and Jenna both giggled.
"Do it again!" Harry insisted.
"No!" Annie and I said at the same time, not on purpose though.
Jenna and Harry started laughing.
"Do it again!!!" Jenna said.
"Ugh! Jenna, Harry, Go...away!" I yelled.
"Thank you!" Annie said.
"Fine!" Jenna and Harry said at the same time.
They went out of the room laughing.
"They are SO immature." I said.

It was 4:00 pm, And Annie and I heard the front door open.
Annie and I lift our heads up from reading and went down stairs.
We then saw Ma on the couch.
"Ma, why are you home so early?" I asked.
Ma didn't answer.
When I saw her face, it was bright red; her eyes were filled with tears.
"Ma, what happened?" Annie asked worried.
Ma sobbed.
I handed Ma a tissue.
"Thank you, Hun." She said with her throat all crackly.
She blew into the tissue. Ma sniffed.
"Girls........We are going to be O.K." She said.
"Ma, what happened?!" I asked.
"I-I got fired!!!" She exclaimed.
"WHAT?!" Annie and I shouted.
