Ms. Europe- Chapter 4- part 2- The bill

"Oh, it's going to be O.K." I told them.
I sighed.
"It's going to be fine!" I said.
"We are moving to the streets! How can that be fine?" Jenna said.
"We are NOT moving to the streets! Who told you that?" I asked.
"We just know it!" Harry said.
"Annie, C'mon, don't cry. You're supposed to help me tell them NOT to cry. Crying doesn't help." I said to Annie.
Louie spotted everyone crying, he started to cry, too.
"Oh, Lord, Help me!" I said.

After everyone stopped crying, thankfully, I heard mail come in through the mail slot.
One envelope came in.
It was a bill.
It said:
To: Marshal Residence
I opened the envelope.
And there was a paper with TONS of writing and numbers.
I skimmed through it very quickly, and I had a bad feeling about this bill.
I read through it:
Owe for Car: $2,000.56
Owe for House: $75,300
Owe for Electricity: $995.34
Owe for Food: $136.43
If you don't pay by the end of this week, we will have to kick you out of the house.

My heart was pounding, I was breathing quickly as I read through this.
I began to sweat, I felt dizzy.
I couldn't breath.
This couldn't be true, it's just a dream, I told myself.
But, it wasn't a dream, it was real.
Suddenly, I fainted.
