The next day, Bernisa woke up to Annadella calling her name. "Alcandor wants to see you!" She yelled. She jumped out of bed and ran out of her room in her pajamas. "What do you want?" she asked when she saw him. Annadella left, knowing this was not about her. In real life, Annadella is pretty smart. Alcandor walked toward her. "I wanted to see you," he answered.
Bernisa scoffed. "Is anything wrong Bernisa?" She turned around and saw Lionel. "When you come to my house next time, knock." She turned back to Alcandor. "Get out," she said in a steel voice. "Cant I just see my girlfriend?" he protested. "We broke up the day before yesterday Alcandor. I'm not yours anymore. Leave." She showed her teeth.
"If you remember Alcandor, I can still kill you because of my species. Both me and Lionel can." She stepped backward, to Lionel. He put his arms around her and looked at Alcandor. Alcandor left. Bernisa sighed. "You an let go of me now Lionel."
Lionel let go. "You need me to watch him?" he asked. Bernisa turned to look at him. "No Lionel, I dont. How'd you-? Never mind. I need to keep my windows locked and walls alarmed." She pushed past him him to go to her room and change her journal.

I met some new neighbors today and I dont really know who they are. They came from this place in Liffel, somewhere I never heard of. Is it a real place? I wonder...n how long do I have to wait until school starts back? Summer is really boring.I think I like their son. hmmmmmm... WHAT AM I THINKING?! I"M TYPING THIS ON A FREAKING COMPUTER!!!!!!!

She jumed as Lionel knocked on the door. "Nice journal," he said in response to her stare. I have Mrs. Tomun, and I bet you do too." She shook her head. "Mr. Drone. He really drones." She turned back to her computer and turned to Solitaire."wanna go out some time? Right now for instance?" Lionel asked.
