Pieces of the Puzzle- Chapter 2

in New Jersey

After my coffee I continued my search for my picture. You see each room in house is organized by alphebetical order. All I have to do is search in my mother's den ,which I'm forbidden to enter, for a small label with Harrold written on it.

This is taking a risk, but I must for the sake of me seeing the eyes of my father. What if my mom comes home and finds me in her secret den. Oh I fear greatly, but I can't let fear take over my soul. I must follow my heart to see my dad.

I entered my mother's den and found things I hadn't seen in ages. Like Mr. Puppy, my teddy bear I used to sleep with every single night until I turned 9 years old. That wasn't what I was looking for though. I wanted something of dad. I kept searching consistintly until-

"Dear I'm home. Where are you?" I tried to come out, but she was right outside the door. I feel like my skin is going to fall off. I tried to hide, but my mother came in and saw me standing dead in the middle of her den.

"What in the world are you doing snooping around in the "forbidden den"? my mom screamed outraged.

"I was searching for Mr. Puppy and look, I found him!" I shook with fear.

"Do you think I'm that stupid? What's the real reason? she stood right in front of me with her arms crossed, tapping her foot.

"That remains with me," I whispered.

"I am your mother and you will tell me the answer or you will not leave this room under any circumstances."
