Ms. Europe- Chapter 10- Part 4- Mrs. Frieda Johns.

"So, what are we having for dinner?" Annie asked.
"Well, we have spinach soup, and fried shrimp. You can choose either one, sweetie." Mrs. Johns said.
"Well, I think I'll have the.........fried shrimp." Annie said.
Mrs. Johns handed her a plate with shrimp and a sauce.
"What do you want dear?" Mrs. Johns asked me.
"Uh, I think I'm going to have the spinach soup, I’m not in the mood for shrimp, thank you."
Mrs. Johns handed me a bowl of green soup, which spelled really good.
"What do you wish to have, Harry?" Mrs. Johns asked.
"Uh, I don't like spinach, so I’ll have shrimp."
Mrs. Johns handed him a plate with shrimp and a sauce.
"What do want, sweetie?" Mrs. Johns asked Jenna.
"I'm going to have...hmm, I want both, but I dunno."
"Well, how 'bout I give you 5 shrimps, and if you still have room, since these shrimps are huge, I'll give you soup." Mrs. Johns said.
Jenna agreed.
"Does the baby eat soup?" Mrs. Johns asked me.
"Uh, for now, I'll just give him his milk, and baby food. Thank you, though." I said.
We ate, the soup was delicious, and I predicted the shrimps were good, too. Seeing how Annie, Jenna, and Harry were eating it.
"Wow Mrs., Johns, where did you learn to cook so GOOD!" Annie asked.
Mrs. Johns chuckled.
"Well, the soup was my mother's recipe, and the shrimps, I learned how to make them from my father. My father was a famous cook, you know?"
We all listened.
"My mother was a cook, also. But, she had allergies to some food products like, mushrooms, ham, nuts, and chocolate. She died from eating food poison. I was only 12 when my mother died, sad really. Then, my father took care of me. He died last year from lung cancer, he was a smoker." Mrs. Johns said sadly.
"Oh my goodness, I'm sorry, Mrs. Johns." I said.
I felt bad for her, loosing her mother and father!
"Well, let’s not talk about this. I don't want to get you kids all sad." Mrs. Johns said.
"Ok, lets talk about who's going to sleep next to who since its one room." Jenna said.
"Oh no, no, no! I am not letting all of you sleep in ONE room! This is a mansion, it has about ten rooms! I have enough rooms for EACH of you to sleep in." Mrs. Johns said.
"Ok, well, Louie is sleeping with me, since I already got my room." I said.
"Jenna is sleeping with me. Since you know, Jenna is afraid of the dark." Annie said.
"So, where do I sleep?" Harry asked.
"Alone." I replied.
Harry stared at me for a few seconds, I guess to understand what I just said.
"COOL! I get to have my own room!"
I rolled my eyes.
"Ok kids, It's time to settle in. Go to your rooms, you can watch TV, or something." Mrs. Johns said.
We were all excited, since we haven't watched TV in about a month.
I carried Louie to my room which was right in-between Harry's room and Annie and Jenna's room.
I placed Louie in the small crib I brought.
I turned the TV on. It was showing this soap opera.
I then fell asleep.
