This book is all a poem, a poem that makes you smile, cry, and feel for the characters.
Estele Leann Sherman is a ten year old girl who lives with her brother, Dale, her dad, and her pregnant mom. The day after Thanksgiving her dad leaves and doesn't tell her why. And the day they get back from Thanksgiving holidays, Chris, the boy who sits in front of her, is missing.
Estele's mom starts to call her friend Paul over more, and one night, something horrible happens that you might not want to know about. A few weeks later, after her mom's and dad's divorce papers had been filed, she saw something horrid. You'll have to read to find out!!
