This is an excellent series about these two kids, Kendra and Seth Sorenson, who visit their mysterious grandparents and find out that their grandpa is a caretaker for a magical santuary called Fablehaven.  In this treacherous world, it is one of the last safe places for magical creatures to dwell. However, evil beings are trying to overthrow the preserve.  This is a MUST READ.
