Kima woke up to a bumpy road. She looked over at Tamon, who was driving, then out the window. They passed through the ghost towns, where they had walked through five years before. "Remember that bracelet I found, Tamon?" He nodded. "I still have it." He looked over her way, then looked back to the road. "Do you remember what I said, before I left you?" he asked. She nodded. She may have been unconcious, but she could still hear. "You said that you- that you loved me," she whispered. "I did, Kima, and I still do. What I did was act stupid. I should've taken you with me, when I ran off. But I couldnt provide for you, and I didnt have much money. Then I heard about you being successful, less than a year later, and figured that you didnt need my help." He was quiet for a while. "Tamon? I did need your help. And without being there for me, you did. Those three words got me through the heartbreak and pain you put me through. I wouldnt have survived without you." Tamon stopped the car. "Why doesnt this ever run out of gas?" he asked gruffly. "Because. Like I said, this car was specially made." Kima looked over to Tamon, who was smiling at her.

They continued to drive, catching up on how their lives have been. When they got to where the fireballs had crashed, Kima and Tamon both felt a burst of emotion. They looked at eachother, then walked away. The heat was intense, so Tamon absorbed the heat around them. The air got cooler, and Kima calmed down. "Thanks," she said. She looked at the car fragments that were scattered everywhere. "Why didnt anybody ever drive on this road? Is it because someone who drove was killed on it?" Tamon asked. Kima shrugged, still examining the car fragments and taking some notes. Tamon went over and helped.

"This is strange," she said. "No evidence of the fire was ever left. And now there are no leads. What is wrong with this picture?" Tamon looked up and felt a trail of fire. "I know what," he said. Kima looked up. "You do?" He nodded, then pointed his finger to where his parents were killed. "Someone like me has the power of fire, and they absorbed it and took it past my parents deathmark."

They got in the car and followed in the direction that Tamon had pointed. He saw his parents burnt out car, and a single tear fell down his cheek. Kima, who was driving, put an arm around his shoulder. "Its gonna be okay T. We'll found out who killed our families, and hopefully, kill them." He nodded. Revenge was what he wanted. His parents were dead because of an purposeful fireball. He was ready to die for what happened to them.

Kima stopped to where he said. She leaned over to the seat and kissed him long. "Tamon, there is no reason to die for our families. We lived for a reason Tamon, and probably for us to be together. I love you Tamon, alot, and there is no force on Earth that can stop it. We're gonna solve this mystery, and we're gonna live through it." With that, Tamon had no reason but to kiss her again. It was night by now, and they fell asleep holding hands, with Kima's head on Tamon's chest. And they both smiled in their sleep.
