Night Crawlers Part 7 Cave of Capture

Sorry everyone that I couldn’t get this in sooner but I have been very busy lately.

As all 7 Draken Warriors crawled out of the trapdoors, Darkna ran over to Rivr with worry all over her mechanical face. “What happened?” She asked worriedly. “His mask is gone-” Shinello sighed ashamed. “We couldn’t get it in time. The shadow disappeared before we could get it.”  Icerano finished. “Well, how are we going to catch a shadow? Heck, we could barely see it.” Bluderz wondered.
Then the answer popped into Flamzo mind. “You obviously don’t think do you,” Flamzo told then calmly. “Oh yeah we think, Minster ‘oh, look at that. Oh I dare you to put it on.’” Coonir said sarcastically. Coonir was bringing up the time him and Flamzo had found the masks. Flamzo looked at Coonir and narrowed his eyes. “As I was say, The shadow is a shadow right.” Flamzo’s answer came from Bluderz. “Uh, you think.” “All we need to do is-“ “Find a cave!” Darkna shouted cheerfully. “Where are we going to find a cave?” Shinello asked. His answered didn’t come from any of them; it came from someone else. “In the mountains.” All their heads turned to the source, It was Draken. “High in the mountains.” “All right Draken, are these mountains behind us or do I have to make them?” Bluderz asked. “No, they are just a few Klicks ahead.” Draken answered. Before any of the Draken Warriors could protest; Draken disappeared. “Why can’t he just do this him self, If he can just disappear like that?” Icerano asked no in particular. “Come on, we have to get going, If we don’t get there soon Rivr will die.” Darkna began to walk into darkness beckoning them to follow. Flamzo was the first one to follow. Then they all followed their two leaders; Flamzo and Darkna.
Not much time later…
They all stood at the mouth of the cave, staring into it. “Who wants to get eaten first?” Bluderz taunted. “Shinello, can you make some type of torch?” Darkna asked. “Why…why don’t you asked Flamzo.” Shinello recommended smiling. Darkna mouth dropped and she replied. “Kay, I will.” She turned to Flamzo. He had a solemn expression. “Are you going to do it?” “With pleasure.” Flamzo agreed. He snapped his claws and a flame appeared. “You lead.” Darkna moved allowing Flamzo to walk past her. He took the lead and walked threw the darkened cave.
A low screech stopped their journey dead. All of them looked around hesitating. Then something wrapped around Darkna’s waist and pulled her into darkness. It happened to fast for Darkna to react. None of the Darkens saw her be taken so they traveled on.

“Wow Darkna, You’re being really quiet.” Flamzo commented. But when he turned around, Darkna wasn’t there! “What? You morons! What happened to her!” Flamzo scolded. “What! She was right there? Where could she have gone?” Icerano asked. “Who was in front of her!” Flamzo asked loudly. Bluderz raised his mechanical arms. In the wink of an eye, Flamzo grabbed Bluderz throat and threatened. “Where is she? She was in front of you!” Bluderz shrugged. Flamzo let go of Bluderz and sighed. Then Bladder’s mouth broke into a smile. He waved his hand in the arm singing. “Flamzo got a girlfriend. Flamzo got a girl-“ Before He could finish his little song. Flamzo kicked Bluderz in the crotch. Bluderz slumped to the ground groaning. Icerano bursted out laughing as well as Coonir. Flamzo, on the other hand wasn’t laughing he was already going down the cave. They all ran after him.
When Darkna could finally see, she screamed. She was hanging upside down, with her legs caught in a web. She struggled to get out of the web, but nothing happened. She let her self hang there. Then a voice echoed there the stone corridor. “Ah, another one of those pesky Draken Warriors.” “Who are you! What do you want from me!” Darkna demanded. “Oh, all we want is your mask. We already have one…but we need all of them.” The voice told her. Darkna charged her staff and cut the web and she was sent falling to the ground. She landed on her feet. Right behind a figure she couldn’t make out was Rivr’s mask!  She charged forward ready to knock the figure off its feet. But the opposite happened. The figure swung his mighty arm, knocking Darkna off her feet. She forced her self up and lunged forward. As the figure laughed with victory, he didn’t see her coming and was knocked down. Darkna grabbed the mask, but didn’t feel it come in her hand. Then she was snatched right off the ground and an Air Raptor’s talons digged deeper into her tissue as they flew farther. Darkna wanted to scream in pain but she had no time for that right then. She opened her hand and there was Rivr’s mask.
