I have the perfect boyfriend because…
He calls me beautiful, not hot.
He occasionally calls me sexy, which makes me feel awesome.
He is always there to listen
He is always concerned about me
He always knows when I’m upset
He always makes me TALK about things, so then our arguments are always resolved quickly, before they can build and get worse
He’s so smart sometimes…it scares me
He’s handsome and charming
He always *waits* for me
He has good morals, believes in God and Jesus as our Savior, and knows right from wrong
He’s crazy, and sometimes really weird, but that’s perfect for me!
He makes me smile and laugh
He’ll kiss me in the rain
He’ll hold me tightly and whisper loving words in my ear
He never says anything nasty unless I do first…usually… lol
He gets along with all of my friends
He accepts me for who I am; the good and the bad, the pretty and the ugly
He’s not afraid to see the real me, and he’s not afraid to show me the real him
He writes beautiful poetry
He respects my desires, wishes, dreams and boundaries
He doesn’t judge me
He doesn’t criticize me
He’ll listen to all of what I have to say and then tell me his thoughts
He’ll stay up for hours on the phone with me…even if it’s past midnight
He’ll give me surprises
He’ll buy stuff for me if he sees I really like it but can’t afford it
He’ll let me drag him around the mall and he’ll even help me pick out clothes to buy
He always encourages me to try new things
He loves to go camping
He insists I have to finish high school and go into college
He doesn’t expect me to do all of the domestic work if we get married
He’ll pick me up in his arms and cradle me when I’m sad
If I get hurt, he’s there by my side within seconds
If I’m crying, he wipes away all of my tears
He’s seen me at my worst, and every time he still says I’m beautiful
He loves my eyes and always tells me he does
He will read all of the newest poems I post on KidPub.com without me asking
He knows how to dance and he likes to!
He loves animals
He likes to listen to music
He lets me wear his jackets when I’m cold
He let me steal his Zune after 2 weeks of going out- I still have it and it’s been almost 9 months J AND he’ll put music on it for me when I ask
He says nothing is up to him, it’s all up to me, and that I get to make the decisions
When I ask him what he wants to do, he won’t answer until I tell him what I want to do first
He calls me just to say “I love you”
We always end each day with “Goodnight, I love you.”
He lets me read to him and sing to him
He helps me cook things
He makes me promises and he always keeps them
He’ll listen to every song I send him on MySpace
He plays with my hair and he even braids it!
He’ll nibble on my ears and neck
He’s interested in my past, but more interested in what I wanna do with my future
He tells me over and over that he will never leave me and he will never give up on me
But what really makes him the perfect boyfriend is… he really, truly, loves me. <3 <3 <3
