Cookie Girl In Candy Land

“Where the hell am I?!” Roxanne shouted out loud. “Hellooo?! Is Anybody here?!”

Roxanne sighed tiredly. It had been 36 minutes, and there was no sign of civilization anywhere.

Yeah sure, she loved the outdoors. But seeing nothing but green and brown made her eyes hurt and twitch from not seeing any other colors.

In fact, Roxanne still had no idea how she got here. One moment she was reading, the next thing she knows, BAM!!! She was stuck in the middle of no where.

Not paying attention to where she was going, she missed the tiny specks of color along the grass, and so being the reckless girl she was, she stepped on it—

“HEY!! WATCH YOUR STEP, PUNK!!”

Roxanne stopped. Did she just hear something, or was it her imagination? She looked around a few times before shaking her head, and kept walking.

“OW—DAMN YOU!! DIDN’T YOU HEAR ME!? I SAID WATCH WHO YOU STEP ON!!”

“Okay. I know i just heard a voice. A very tiny, tiny voice.” Roxanne said. She brainstormed, but nothing came to her little, actually-smart-academically-wise, peanut sized at times, brain.

“DOWN HERE, STUPID!!!”

Roxanne looked down and to her immense surprise, she spotted 5 colorful gummy bears.

Roxanne blinked. “Maybe mom was right. I really DO need to go see a psycologist…”

“GODDAMIT, FINALLY!! You giants think that just because we’re tiny doesn’t mean we can’t defend ourselves!!” The green one said.

“YEAH!!” said the red, blue, and yellow ones.

“WE’RE FINALLY FUCKING FREE!!! OH YEAH!! UH-HUH!!! IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!! IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!! YEAH!!!!
ALRIGHT!!!” screamed—uh, danced the purple one.

The next few seconds we’re followed by an awkward silence.

“YOU IDIOT!!” shouted the green one at the purple one.

“YEAH!!!” shouted the rest.

Roxanne blinked yet AGAIN. “uh… free from what, exactly?”

“CANDY LAND!!” the green one screamed.

“YEAH—“

“WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP SAYING ‘YEAH’ AFTER EVERY SENTENCE I SAY?!” said the green one, irritatedly.

“…SORRY!!” they apologized.

“O-kay…. What’s Candy Land?” Roxanne asked. “a game, or something?”

“LE GASP!!! You don’t know what candy land is?!” They all screamed.

“No.” Responded Roxanne, bluntly.

This time, the purple one spoke up. “Candy Land is the most horrifying place you’ll ever go to. There are gigantic cookies stomping, and HUGE marshmellow birds, and this deep and scary chocolate river, and—and—it’s just HORRIBLE!!” wailed the purple one.

The green one took the moment to speak. “Don’t go in there if you value your life. Some local gummies say that anybody who has entered has never come out. We were lucky enough. Others, not so much.”

However, Roxanne wasn’t paying attention. Her eyes were replaced by hearts, and there was lots of drool coming from her mouth.

Roxanne tried her best to look scared. “Do you know which is the way to Candy Land so i can avoid it?”

“Yeah!! It’s…which way is east?”

Roxanne pointed to the west. “It’s that way.”

“oh, okay!! Don’t go east, and you’ll be fine!!”

“oh, ok!! I’ve gotta go now. Thanks for the help!!” Roxanne fakely smiled.

“DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT!!” They screamed.

Roxanne turned around, and headed towards the REAL east.

“Hehehe…little suckers…”
