"What!" was his reaction.
"You heard me." I told him, "Its the only thing we can do and trust that it will be done right."
"Okay Lex," he began, "let's say we did go on this 'mission'..."
"Don't think of it as a mission." I cut him off. Takeing Oregon's way of looking at things away usually gave you an adventege on the subject sometimes made you able to talk him into things.
This was totaly a different totaly different sutuation.
"Okay. Let's say we did go to find Roxy. How would we catch up?"
His answer came just right then.
Beep! My phone just recieved a mesage.
It was from Roxy. It didn't have a picture it just said 'Hurry'
"Roxy will keep us posted on where we have to go." I replied closeing my phone.
"Well what about money."
"I know where my dad keeps his spare credit card." I answered confidantly.
"Um... School!" he exclaimed.
That one caught me for a moment. "Who needs school?" I asked. I mean really it was just a repeat of fifth grade so far.
"Our parents." He said solwly.
"We'll leave them a note." I said pulling out a note.
Oregon looked at me quizicly, "You had all this planned out already didn't you?"
My answer?
"Pretty much."
He looked at me for a long, long, extremly long, moment, then sighed, "You win." He breathed.
"Great!" I exclaimed, "Now where's that credit card!"
