Into Another Dimension; Chapter 1

Carly looked at me over her shades. She was my best friend. "You said earlier that you were over Svett, Lazi." Carly looked over to my brother Cratt. "Didnt she?" He nodded. I shot a glare at them both. They were my best friend, but sometimes, they drove me crazy. "That was earlier, Carls," I told her. I swear that I saw her eyes change color. Lately, she's been well, moody. And her clothes were darker, and like I said, I swore her eyes changed color too.

Me and Cratt were changing too. His blonde hair was silvery now, as was mine. Our eyes were also changing color. Back to the subject. Svett was a cutie that caught my eye when I started this school at the beginning of the year. I was immediately approached by the Penel's, a group of popular girls each named something unique. My name was only unique because it meant Queen of Life, but I turned them down. That was also how I met Carly. We were both new, and while I was quiet and shy, she was loud and boisterous. I came here because my mother was dead and I found out I had a brother here, Cratt.

I just saw a glimpse of Svett, but it was enough to make my stomach jump. I kept telling Cratt and Carly that I was over him in the morning, but after lunch, when I passed him at the Penel's table (he's not part of them, but CarmaTalon's boyfriend), I was falling all over him by the time I sat down with Cratt and Carly.

We were standing by our lockers, which were side by side. School had ended for the day, and Carly had to meet Svett for skateboarding lessons. Who ever thought a perfect guy like him couldnt skateboard? Shoot, I was skateboarding before I started walking. "Plus, you know I have to pass the Penel's table to get to our table. There was no other route. But please tell me every single detail. Okay?"

I was right. Carly's eyes were changing color. Because they flickered before she sighed. "Alright. There is no need to beg, See you guys." I smiled inwardly, proud of my accomplishment. Cratt was already halfway to the door. "Arent you coming Zizi?" I snapped out of my happy thought, and raced beside him. Carly had to wait for Svett because he was too busy making out with Talon.

I ran to my room to call Uncle Ted. But he didnt answer. I needed to talk to Haney, his daughter, about cutting my hair and dying it. Daddy had siad no, to my disappointment. I had just finished protesting and screaming, but finally ended up running out of the house crying and right into Svett. My eyes were blurry, and I didnt recognize him. So I pushed him away and ran to the beach. I was panting by the time I got there.

I sat down in front of a cave, then went into it to change into my bathing suit. When I came out, I jumped into the water with my clothes in a bag that couldnt get wet. I swam to a small island and started crying. My cell was ringing inside my bag, but I ignored it. My father knew I was going to another dimension with Carly and Cratt tonight, and he knew I had plans with Haney. I knew it was him.

I heard someone calling my name, and looked up. It was Svett. I turned away and started my finger into a circle. I was gonna go ahead into the next dimension, without Carly and Cratt.

There was a splash. I turned around. Svett was swimming to the island. The portal opened just as Svett climbed onto the island. I told him to get off, but he just stared at the portal. I was already beginning my transformation. My shoulder-length hair was growing longer, and my eyes were turning clear. Svett looked at me. A robe had appeared, making me look more like a teenager. "Go!" I yelled. I looked past him to see my brother and best friend holding hands, jump into the water. They were here in no time. They had transformed along the way.

The portal then sucked us all into the second dimension. Including Svett. He was still in his wet clothes. I found a robe in a crack and told him to change into it. We all turned away while he did. Afterwards, we started walking. "Cratt, see where we are." He took out a high-tech gadget that was only used in the second through fiftieth dimensions. This is our second mission, but we all knew what to do. Not Svett. "We're in Conard."

I knew what Conard was. It was mostly desert, with only a few inhabitants. We were here to find a small heart-shaped charm, with a lightning bolt in the middle. It fit the palm of my hand. I looked over the large expanse of land. Farther away, I aw a small trail of smoke. "Over ther!" I pointed.

I loooked around for transportation. I saw four hoverboards in a corner. "They know just what I like," I said happily. Hoverboarding was like surfing, and it was better in the air. Everyone got one, and Svett, who didnt know how to work it, was assissted with it. I wasnt thinking that my crush was following my lead, but about the charm. I took off my robe, revealing a form-fitting outfit. It was silver with green stripes.We had no shoes, and no hats or anything, but a built in air conditioner. Everyone else took off theirs. The boys looked like a suit, with no coat and the ends connected to the pants.

Svett was in the lead. He had quickly gotten used to it. Carly was behind me, Cratt in the back, and I was in second. I did a few tricks, like whiz past Svett really closely. He followed closely behind. I heard an explosion behind us. We turned around and looked for Cratt and Carly. They werent there. They must have been blown somewhere.
