It runs down the window
Soaks into the grass
Dampens the world
With crystal-like drops
Rain
A wonder of life
It pours from my heart
Into my eyes
Frames my face
With glimmers of pain
Tears
Sorrow in water
But both
Are cleansing
And purify
Wipe the world
And my heart
Of ugliness
