Chapter 1: How it all began… Part 1
Sabor sat with her hands bunched together because she was scared. Sabor was not your average girl. She is a Knight of the Night. Superior to every enemy that she’s comes across, and is very independent. She prefers to do things herself. Sabor is the last Knight of the Night left on the planet. Sabor admired her armour the most. A breastplate made of metal with the symbol of the Knights of the Night. Blue sleeves made of dragon skin. Forearm plates, which looked like medieval knight gauntlets. Also her leg plates looked medieval as well. A blue skirt made of dragon skin as well and a trusty sword with she named Fay. Fay had a thin blade but never would it break; it was made of the strongest metal known, sliver. Fay’s handle had blue leather wrapped around it and a small diamond was welded on the bottom of the blade.
Sabor’s hair was blonde and she had gorgeous cyan eyes. She was a beautiful woman, she was 16-years-old.
Sabor’s hands were sweating under her gauntlets, yes; she was remembering her past life as a normal girl in high school.
She remembered the day she had woke up in the morning to go to school. Sabor’s past name was Tess and She will never forget that Tess was somewhere still inside her. But now Sabor had took over. Tess opened her eyes slowly and quickly closed them because of the brilliant rays the sun gave off. Tess had a window near her bed so that the rays would come right into her room. Tess smiled at her beautiful room. It was a light lavender and with elegant white wood furniture. Her room was a perfect square. Her door on the far right corner, which was also made of white wood. Next to her door was a calendar, which had pictures of cute kittens. It was May, the most wonderful time of the year. All the Cherry Blossom trees out in the front of our house were blossomed and the lose petals would fly away to a foreign place in the wind. The weather was perfect. Around 70 degrees everyday. It just felt so good against my delicate skin.
Next to my calendar was her closet full of the latest fashion in town. Most of it was either blue or purple. They were both just fine colours for May.
Across from her bed was her dresser, which was full of her dresses. She had a prom dress waiting for her in this dresser. The prom was just 2 days away. It was an elegant black dress made of the finest silk and she had sliver shoes to go along with it. Tess couldn’t wait to go to the prom, she had been asked by the hottest guy in school to go with. His name was Sho. He was so hot! He had light blonde hair with gray eyes. He was like a spirited from heaven.
Next to her dresser was a little table with her homework on it. She had done her math homework without out any stop. Tess was the best at math.
She stretched her arms out and lay there looking at the ceiling, which was also lavender. Then she remembered today was Thursday and she had to go to school. She jumped out of bed and ran to her closet and studied her cloths.
She her uniform with was Dark Blue and white. She threw her uniform on and left her PJs on the ground.
She flung her door open and went flying down the hall trying to get her tennis shoes on at the same time. I hope I am not late!
She flew down the stairs and made it to the table in less than a minute.
“Am I late?” She demanded, catching her breath. Her mom looked over she shoulder and answered. “No.” Tess flopped in a chair nearby.
The air smelled like pancakes. Oh I love my mom’s pancakes! She cheered in her head.
Her mom was standing at the stove flipping pancakes high into the air. She inhaled the tasty air and asked. “Mom? Did Dad leave already?”
Her mom turned off the stove and brought a plate full of pancakes to the table. She nodded sadly.
“Oh.” She said sad as well. Her Dad worked as a doctor. He would sometimes bring home human body parts, which would always send me running to my room.
Tess grabbed a plate from a stack in the middle of the table and snatched 3 pancakes. She poured syrup on my pancakes. They smelled so mouthwatering. She sliced my fork into the pancakes and stuffed her mouth full of delicious pancakes.
Her mom began to laugh as she sat down beside her.
Tess looked up and asked with a mouth full. “What?”
“Your hair looks like a hay stack.” Her mom laughed.
Her mom was right. Tess had forgotten to comb her hair, she planned to do that after she ate breakfast.
She swallowed the pancakes and laughed along.
Tess heard from behind her little footsteps coming toward the kitchen. She turned around and saw her little brother Tyler who was 8-years-old. He looked tired and his hair stood up. She laughed at him and greeted. “Hello Tyler.”
Tyler just looked at her with half-open eyes, moaned, and turned and headed back up stairs. Her mom laughed and mouthed. “I’ll get him.”
She turned back to the pancakes and stuffed another in my mouth. They were so warm in her mouth but she had a little stomach and she wasn’t hungry any more. She pushed the empty plate toward the middle of the table and headed back up stairs.
She walked into their bathroom it was a faint blue. She looked at her self in the mirror. She looked horrible. Her hair was indeed a haystack and she didn’t look awake.
Tess splashed water on her face and combed her hair. She headed out of the bathroom and into her bedroom. She walked over to her table, picked up her homework, stuffed it in her bag, and strolled down the hallway to the stairs.
When she reached the end of the stairs, she peered in the kitchen. Tyler was sitting in the same chair she was in slumped over and slowly eating pancakes.
Tess told her mom that she was leaving and she opened the front door and headed for the school.
She stepped onto a stone path and both sides of the path were a rose bush. With thriving red roses growing on the sides.
Further down the path were the Cherry Blossom trees. A breeze knocked the delicate flowers off the limbs and floated away. She caught one and held it in her hand.
Then in the distance She heard a bell ring. It was the school’s first bell, which meant you had 10 minutes until school started.
She dropped the flower and sprinted down the sidewalk heading for a wonderful day a school. Or maybe not so wonderful…
