Listen to me,
This is the last poem I'll write to you.
My words have filled many a page,
All adressed to you.
But no more.
I left you last November,
Found him in December,
He was more than just a friend.
But then, I've been thinking of you since May.
No more.
After many hard months,
I've made my choice.
He's mine forever more,
Or not forever,
I don't know what's in store.
But I've chosen him over you,
Which you may seem unfair,
And maybe it is.
But for now, my life is his.
And I can't stop that.
It's not that I don't like you,
It's just that I don't like you,
Anymore.
And if I did,
I'd love him more.
So, to sum it up I've chosen.
And this is the last poem I'll write to you.
Goodbye, I hope to see you soon.
And I hope your sad eyes are clear.
I know you'll never read this poem but,
Goodbye.
