Nascar Junkies

Two straight hours...

talking in my car...

playing a little video games

and singing about...cars?

We were in shock when we arrived

to proudly see..a bright 24

on a lot of Rvs

We had only come up for the day...wanting to live the dream

of what it's like to be Nascar junkie.

We watched on TV almost all the time...

Called every so often

to talk about a guy we know by the name of Jeff Gordon.

fire and Flames dawned his car when Pepsi wasn't there

he was the speed i desired

the guy who inspired the two of us to race

from time and time again...I always took first place.

It was always somekind of fluke

that i was always there

in victory lane again and again...

was it something I would wear?

our first ever real time race...

the thunder in our ears..

we were so used to being able to not scream in order to hear.

The national athem rang out loud

the engine started roaring

we both were in heaven

watching these car go soaring.

We screamed...yelled...booed to our hearts content

and then couldn't stop talking

when we headed back.

Laughing the entire time..getting over our adreniline rush

but then again..to our luck

we got to go again before next month...

(It's probably poorly written...i'm just getting words out right now...)
