These Ten Months

Ten months

Is either

A long time

Or a short time.

To me, it’s both

Because we’ve done

So much and yet

So little.

Because we have

Passed others

But others have

Passed us.

So let’s beat

Them all and

Stay together

Forever.

Because as long

As we have

A tomorrow together

Tomorrow will be our forever.

If they did it

Then why can’t we

Cause I’m committed

And I know you are, too.

We’re not too young

Don’t say that to me

I know what love is

And this was meant to be.

These ten months

Have been amazing

But forever

Will be better…
