Feanix raced across the droubt land, praying that he wouldn't be spotted. He dived under cover at every possible moment, but the thin and weedy bushes and trees hardly hid him from view.
Now, what did he have to do? The diamond had had a paricular place to go, but he couldn't see anything like that near hear. The land was dry and flat and it was easy to see at leas ten miles in each direction.
Suddenly, something cuaght his eye. Something was sparklinbg in the distance. Feanix krept nearer, not know what on earth it could be.
On closer inspection, he found it was xactly was he had been praying for...
A small, stone platform, encrusted with a fine, emerald dust, was glittering before him. Feanix couldn't understand how he had missed it.
Guessing what he had to do, he placed the glimmering emerald on top of the platform and waited.
All of a sudden, the ground began to shake. The platform was sinking into the ground! Before Feanix could do anything, the platform and the emerald had disappeared. But in there place, he saw something green poke its way out of the earth.
He learned closer and realised it was grass. It spread all around, engulfing the dry plants and replacing them with lush, green ones, thick with foliage.
As far as he could see, the droubt land was being transformed into a pastures of rolling green grass and flowers and trees.
Bu before he realised what he was doing, his feet where carrying him off again. No good in hanging around, Myella could be anywhere.
Now for the sapphire.
