Hey everyone. I was just wondering who was still here on Kidpub. I haven't really been on in FOREVER! I know Paige, your still here... but I don't now who else is. Well, if you remember me, I'd like to talk to you again. To all the people who have joined since I have been on, HELLO!!! Well, here's the next chapter in my story---

Chapter Twelve

“Kilioc!” A deep baritone voice bellowed. “It’s wonderful to see you, my friend. And now, who is your young companion?”
Sanji blushed, and attempted a curtsy. “My same is Sanji, Your Majesty.”
“Sanji, where do you come from?” The king’s voice was kind, but loud and deep, and very intimidating.
“Um… Kummor, Sir, I mean, Your Majesty. The village of Kummor, I think it is South East of here.”
“I see. And why is it that you are here, in the glories Dragon Caves?”
“Because…” She hesitated, and looked to Kilioc, unsure of how to explain why they were here.
“Because,” Kilioc saved her. “She was attacked by a Masterless dragon. That is what the Great Terinix told me. I asked, when we were visited by him. That is the one we were so unsure about. Well, when she was attacked, the dragon was about to deliver one final blow, when Laetin came.” She lowered her eyes, and blushed fiercely.
“Laetin is alive?” The king roared, his face red with anger. “How long? Why is he hiding? Have you known, since you’ve been here?”
“Yes, I’ve known. And he never died in the first place. He was simply furious, so he hid.”
“I see. Though it was a horribly selfish choice. He was the most powerful Dragon Master we had. And obviously we need them. The only Masters that were any good fled to Northern Alentai. They were too afraid for their dragons.”
“Yes, I know. But this is not why we are here. We are here because Sanji here, has spoken to the Great Terinix, in her mind. She has the ability to be a Dragon Master, and if I’m correct, she could be even more powerful than Laetin. She just needs to be tested.”
“I see.” The king rubbed his chin in thoughtfulness. “Well, it is late, and you have been traveling a lot. Yim will show you to the caves you can have.” On cue, the small limber figure flipped into the large cave/room.
“Follow me, my friends,” he said, and bounded away. Sanji and Kilioc curtsied to the king, and hurried after the man. “Here we are,” he announced, when they reached a door. Sanji stared at it. It was just a door in the middle of the tunnel wall.
“There sure are a lot of passages, tunnels and caves here,” she commented, and Yim laughed.
“Yes, you are right, there are. It takes years to figure them all out. Even I get lost sometimes, even though I’ve lived here all my life.”
“Are you a Dragon master?” She asked curiously.
“Yes,” the little man replied, opening the door, revealing a large cavern. “My dragon is in his own cave, He’s small, as am I, but some of the smallest tunnels are too small for him.
“Oh. Do you like being a Master?”
“Yes, yes, of course. It’s the best thing ever! I wouldn’t want to be anything else.”
Encouraged by Yim’s enthusiasm, Sanji felt better. She walked into the room, and looked around. The walls were stone, just like the rest of the caves. There were two beds, a chest, and a desk. On top of the desk was an amazing dragon sculpture lamp. She looked at it, and smiled.
“I’ll leave you now, hope you both have a good nights rest.” Yim left, and Kilioc plopped down on the bed.
“You better get to bed, tomorrow we go to Riaherkias, and you have your Dragon Test.”
