All I could do was supose the light was nothing.
The picuture was something.

Two girls were running from something. They had scary expressions on their face. The scariest part was the one girl looked exactly like ME! It couldn't have been. I checked again and nothing changed.

My eyes grew wide as I flicked the light off and bolted up the stairs. And at the top of the stairs, my mom was waiting.

"Give me the milk." She sighed. "I don't know what's going on, but there's nothing wrong with that basement."

"That's what you think." I responded. I started to run up to my room.

"Where are you going?" My mom pulled me back.

"To my room." I didn't waaste any time. I was up there in five seconds.

I looked at myself in my mirror. Nothing really changed since I turned thirteen. I had the same wavy black hair, the same blue eyes, and the same Asian look. My reflection never looked that glamorous. Most of the girls at school have a better reflection than me. They wear all that make up and junk.

A small sigh escaped me. Was that really me looking back at myself? If it was, I could have noticed who I really was. But I wasn't really concerned about that at the time.
