Prologue~Midnight Scroll

Queen Petulia sat on her throne, deep in thought. She had to know: was the Dream God tricking her? Or was a Midnight Scroll necessary?
Why would Dream God trick me? she chided herself. Yes, she thought. It is necessary.
But what had the Dream God said? All she could remember was "...you must have a midnight scroll..." But who was supposed to write it? She racked her brain. Nobody came up.
Who would be the one to save their kingdom?
