~*~This is my semi-changed version of SoulBlade. You don't hear the WHOLE plot here. Instead, I have something else planned that will reveal the plot. I need feedback on this one, please!!!~*~
So, I guess I am chosen to weild this blade capable of defeating the dark one? thought Haxek. "Who on Armonia is the dark one? And why me? Why was I chosen?" Haxek said out loud. He looked at the mysterious sword in his hand and started thinking wild thoughts.
"You asked who the Dark One was?" said a voice that sounded like it was coming from behind Haxek. "Why, what a coincedence. I happen to be the dark one your talking about. And, that sword you have. How exquisite. Are you planning to, by any chance, slice open my throat with it?"
Haxek turned behind him and saw a man with a black cloack on with a hood covering his face. His voice sounded familiar, but Haxek could not think of who it could be. But, suddenly, he remembered. It was the man he ran into in the center of town earlier!
Ahh. . .so that's the SoulBlade, the sword meant for defeating me and saving Armonia, thought the man. I can't give away the details to this kid. . .I must keep everything a secret. He must not find out about anything. Not my plans, not my life. No.
The man put his hand on Haxek's shoulder. He then flung him to the ground. "I can tell what your thinking, little boy. Your scared of me already."
"I am not little! I am turning fifteen next year! And the name's Haxek, and don't you forget it, you creep!" yelled Haxek, standing up and clenching his fist tightly.
"So be it. . .Haxek," replied the man. He looked at Haxek, even though he could not see his face. "My name is Raikos and I am the Dark One. The SoulBlade is not fake after all. The legend came true."
"Raikos," said Haxek. He stared at Raikos and saw darkness shrouding all around him. From what he had said, Haxek finally understood he was chosen to defeat him and save Armonia. But Haxek still wanted to know more about Raikos and his plans, so he asked more questions. "What do you want with this planet, what happened to the citizens here, and what do you know about the sword I hold in my hands?"
"I am not going to tell you much, but I suppose a little won't hurt. I was a studier of the soul. I learned that little monster called Nosouls could be born if a soul with darkness was removed from the human's body. Once I had created these Nosouls, I planned to attack Armonia. I was successful. My soul turned black and I became more and more powerful. So, I have the power now to control each little drop of darkness in the universe," explained Raikos. He flipped his hood back and revealed a very beautiful face. His long silver hair came down to his shoulders and black streaks went through his hair. He looked at Haxek, smiling evily.
"You didn't answer anything!" replied Haxek. "All you are is a stupid creep who wants world domination! Thanks for answering my questions, you stupid Dark One." He charged at Raikos, but all that Raikos had to do was grab the sword with his hand and fling it backwards. Haxek went flying back, landing on the ground.
"You still have to learn my true powers, and all about the darkness. The whole point of being a villain is never to reveal your plot to the hero. You shouldn't know practically anything about me. Not like this has to with anything but I'll be nice this time and I won't hurt you. I have better things to do," said Raikos with a smile. He paused for a second and took a deep breath. He then resumed talking. "Three years later, after I stopped attacking Armonia, I went across the Districts searching for people who would like to join my organization, Excessum. I found six people, and since then, we have been wreaking havoc on Armonia. I also used them for my studies as test subjects."
"Hmmm. . .So you really are an evil man. I guess you might be a challenge after all," replied Haxek, gripping his sword tightly. "You really do want to destroy the world and transform Armonia into a dark place."
"Yes, you are correct," said Raikos. "And for your question you asked about that SoulBlade of yours. I honestly have no idea about it. All I know is that if you can use it properly, you have a slim chance of defeating me. And, for your question you asked about the citizens of Freedom Town, I will answer it now. This might seem sad, but the Nosouls you killed earlier where the townsfolk. I turned them into Nosouls, and that is why you couldn't find them. You killed them all. . .you killed all of your townspeople. How cruel. So, for now, I bid you adieu, and when we meet again, I will kill you. . .and it won't matter if you use your sword or not. And, I almost forgot. I have a present for you and Freedom Town. I'll take something precious, and you'll also lose something precious. . .forever. Goodbye and farewell, Haxek. Until we meet again!"
Haxek watched as Raikos snapped his fingers, summoning Nosouls in front of him. Raikos laughed, and then he stepped into the dark portal he once used before to teleport himself. Haxek looked behind him, only to see Krome battling the Nosouls while he also protected Melanie. Haxek turned his head again and slashed all of the Nosouls to bits. He darted for the other end of the beach to help Krome and Melanie. He quickly got there and destroyed all of the Nosouls.
"What the heck is that?" asked Krome, looking at the sword in Haxek's hand.
"It is the SoulBlade, and its going to save your hide," replied Haxek, turning his head and looking at Krome. He stepped over to Krome's side and looked at Melanie. "You have to leave. Raikos, the evil guy I had been talking to for a while, is going to plan something. He said he was going to take something precious of mine and he'd also destroy one. I hope it's not--"
Before Haxek could finished, Raikos appeared behind Melanie. He grabbed Melanie with his hand and threw her over his shoulder. He smiled a little and stepped forward.
"You are most likely wondering why I want her. This is the 'lose something precious' part of what I had said. I need Melanie for two reasons. But you don't have to hear them," said Raikos with a laugh. He walked into the mysterious portal once more and vanished.
"NO!" cried Haxek with tears in his eyes. "Don't! Come back!" Haxek tried to run into the closing portal, but hit something invisible and fell to the ground. "I can't get in there and save her! Krome, we have to fight this thing and kill it before we, too, have something terrible happen--our deaths!"
Krome glanced at Haxek, who was now standing on two feet again. "Let's do it. If we don't destroy this thing, we will get killed, and, for a bonus, Freedom Town goes bye-bye." Krome and Haxek stood next to each other and prepared to attack the black giant that stood in front of them. The black clouds let out a raging roar of thunder, telling Haxek, Krome, and the giant Nosoul, that the battle had just begun.
