cccc Punishing Pringleberry
Chapter One:
In which we get to know me, Simon, and meet the rest of the characters.
First I guess I should tell you a little about Mrs. Pringleberry. She’s the menace of the 5th grade. Shes short, lean,
and mean. Heck, I think she likes punishing pathetic little kids.
Well, one day I conspired to get ol’ Pringleberry back for the terror she had brought on us kids. And the only thing I
needed was faith, courage, and the entire 5th grade.
Now lets get things straight. I’m not what you would call popular. I have but two friends: Joey, and my cat, Tubs,
short for Tubby. Joey is what most parents would call a laugh. He’s funny but definitely not popular. Popular kids
and him sure mix, like oil and water. Now let me tell you a little bit about the popular kids.
-Jacob: Yeah hes funny, handsome and the teachers love him. We do not.
-Joanne: theres only only thing to say about her: shes just plain mean. Oh yeah, and she and Jacob are the one and
only couple at our school.
-Allice: Truly popular. Nice and beautiful and pretty and her hair is just…..okay, whatever, you get the point.
-Joannes Posse: They follow her around everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Plus there mean, snot-nosed idiots. But
that’s just my opinion.
Plus all those wannabes and jocks who have no idea what they’re getting themselves into. Me, I prefer to stay out of
it. But my life ended up intertwined somewhere on the twisted roads of fate with Julia. Julia changed popular life at
CS Prep (Charles Schultz) as we know it.
