Chapter 14:
It looked to Julie as if she was going through a labyrinth. There were so many ways and staircases and floors in the whole school that she had hard time finding out the place for herself – ‘till she thought of combing in slowly.
Going through the second floor, she found a hoard of kids pushing and peering to see at a large piece of paper with tiny printed writing on it, which was stuck on a wall.
She had seen the same thing down at the first floor too – but the kids looked different – they seemed to about the same age as her.
Going forward – pushing through people - she strained her eyes to see.
It was a list of student’s names, in which classes they were in. She quickly skimmed it – trying to find her name – but with no avail.
She continued to scan it, despite the pushes from the other kids, but unfortunately, her name was not there.
Feeling hopeless and nervous as to what to do, she bit her lip, but not before a snarling voice came out right behind her.
“Get your hair outta my face!”
