Pop 4 N.o.

When Lily got home, it was too late to go to dance class. She went into the living room to find her brother hogging the TV, watching the Simpsons, eating cornflakes. THAT explained why she couldn't find them this morning. To her surprise her brother turned around and said "oh sorry Lil', I didn't think you would be home so early so I started watching the Simpson's, but now that you're home do you want to watch that OC. video of yours?" Then he went over to the video player and popped the video in. Lily was amazed.
Then, even more amazingly, Sam went over to the cupboard and put the Cornflakes away.
After that he got out HIS jelly. 'Great' Lily thought,'now he won't share that'. But to her surprise he went over to get another bowl and halved the jelly. Then he gave a bowl to her. While she was sitting eating jelly, Lily remembered the Pop 1 N.o. ticket. She went up to put it in her room. As she came down the stairs she saw her mum come in.
"Who wants home-baked cookies?" her mum asked. Then Sam replied "we just had jelly, mum".
'Perfect' Lily thought, now he's ruined our chances of that. But her mum was quick to say "oh, it doesn't matter" and hand them three each.

when Lily went ot sleep that night, she had beautiful dreams. Deocrating the sun with rubies, she was a fairy. Making flowers pink. Doing fairy things. Eating fairy food.
so naturally, when Lily woke up she was happy. She had Cornflakes and toast with jam for breakfast. she had a good hair day. Her favourite jeans were ironed. She left for school.

But, of course, she left the ticket behind.......
