The farmer of Bankhills Farm was very sad.His most loyal horse,Speedy,was very sick.Infact,the vetrinarian said that Speedy would probably die on Christmas Eve.The farmer did everything he could to get her well,but nothing worked.All the animals new that Speedy was sick,and they visited her when they felt to make her feel better.
But on Christmas Eve,the farmer didn't come to visit Speedy because he knew that today was the day that Speedy was going to die.The farmer thought that he wouldn't have a merry Christmas this year.He prayed very hard,but it seemed that nothing would help Speedy recover.
That night the farmer was at home,when at that very moment,there was a miracle happening.Suddenly,Speedy opened her eyes and started to breath heavily.Speedy was going to give birth.The dog noticed all the trama she was having and started barking outside the farmer's house.The farmer woke up and ran over to the barn as fast as he could.What he saw made him smile.There,he saw Speedy with her foals.And the farmer thought that maybe,just maybe,miracles were just inside a prayer.
