The Nerve to Prove

I lay on the grassy shores by the river. It is quiet and peaceful, and the gentle winds are blowing through my long, black hair.No one is out here but me,the wind, the birds, and the river.I come here most often every morning and evening, when my father does not worry that I am lost.
At the end of the river there is a big waterfall, and the people say that if I am a strong person,I would have the nerve to dive of the top of the waterfall. And today is the day I do it.
It is early morning, and my father is still asleep,so he does not know that I am doing this.Everyone in the town who has wanted to see this is already there.I am still very nervous. What if my fahter finds out? What will he say? What will happen nevertheless if I do not survive this? But I am strong, and I will do this.
It is time to jump.I am at the top of the waterfall, and everyone is screaming"Jump!"I did it.

I opened my eyes to find out that I am laying on the grassy shore. But this time,I am wet.
